    President - Kristina Minyard, PHR

    Kristina H. Minyard, PHR is an HR professional with a specific passion for recruiting. Her experience has allowed her to learn many different business practices and partner with mulitple HR departments to create win-win situations for clients and employees. She attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR where she studied Sociology and Psychology, but relocated to Alabama where she discovered her passion for HR. Kristina is also an active member on the NASHRM board and HACEPD (Huntsville Area Committee for Employment of People with Disabilities) as well as a SHRM national member. As Legislative Director, Kristina will keep our chapter current on legislation effecting our profession and share with us ways to communicate with our representatives.

    Michelle DeBord, PHR has almost 15 years of Human Resource experience from Generalist to HR Manager. She is currently working in the HR department for Huntsville City Schools and has been since 2014. She has previously worked in HR in the manufacturing industry and government subcontracting where she brings diverse knowledge such as labor relations, union avoidance, compensation and benefits and process improvement. Michelle has previously served on the NASHRM board as Chapter Administrator, VP of Membership, Student Chapter Relations Director, VP of Programs, and Chapter President.

    Ben Eubanks, SPHR, SHRM-SCP is an author, speaker, and HR analyst from Huntsville, AL. He currently runs Lighthouse Research & Advisory, a human capital research and advisory services firm as the owner and principal research analyst. He works with HR technology vendors and service organizations on product strategy, marketing, and more to help them better serve the HR marketplace.
    With over seven years of tactical and strategic experience spanning all areas of HR, Ben is a nationally-recognized author and speaker on trends and best practices in human capital management. He also hosts the "We're Only Human," podcast, one of the featured shows on the world's largest HR podcast network.
    His book, What Running Taught Me about HR, was published in 2015. In addition, he has authored seven eBooks and more than one thousand articles, maintains an HR blog with a global audience of over 20,000 monthly readers, and speaks to local and national groups about various human resources topics.  
    In addition, Ben has served as a board member for the North Alabama Society for Human Resources Management since 2009. Ben also co-founded the HRevolution conference for HR and recruiting leaders and is one of four members that holds this annual event, attracting hundreds of attendees from around the globe since its inception. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from Athens State University.

    Mitch Williams, PHR, CWDP & SHRM-CP, is a retired U.S. Army Command Sergeant Major with more than 28 years of experience and proven success leading, managing, and training large organizations during peace and war. For the last 3 years, he has worked in workforce development and currently works as an Employment Specialist for the VA. He holds a Master of Arts Degree in Human Resources Management from Webster University. Recently, he earned a Master of Science Degree in Acquisition and Contract Management from Florida Institute of Technology. He has a professional membership in National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP), Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), and Northern Alabama Society of Human Resources Management (NASHRM). His credentials include a Society of Human Resources Management- Certified Professional, a Professional in Human Resources from the HR Certification Institute and also a Certified Workforce Development Professional from the NAWDP.  For the previous 3 years, Mitch served on the NASHRM Board as the Assistant VP of Programs, Director of Workforce Readiness, and the Director of Diversity and Inclusion.

    Holly Holladay, SHRM-CP, PHR, is currently employed at the Dynetics, Inc., a local defense contractor who provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific, and IT solutions to the national security, cybersecurity, satellite, launch, automotive, and critical infrastructure sectors. She works as a Human Resources Specialist with her primary focus on benefits administration and ACA compliance. Holly has been in the Human Resources field for 5 years and holds a BS in Human Resources Management from Faulkner University and is certified in Acquisition and Contract Management from Athens State University. She is a SHRM national member and has been a member of NASHRM for over 4 years.

    Donna Quinney, PHR, SHRM-CP, is currently employed with Ignite as a Sr. HR Generalist. Donna has 8 years of human resources experience and is responsible for working with the program managers in defining and implementing recruiting, performance management, compliance and workers compensation. Donna holds a BSBA with a concentration in HR Management from The University of Alabama in Huntsville. Donna is a member of SHRM National and has been a member of NASHRM for 6 years.

    Jennifer Goodall, PHR, SHRM-CP is a true HR professional with a wide breadth of experience across all the HR specialties. From compensation to HRIS implementation to benefits, Jennifer led teams to improve company operations.  She began her HR career in 2007 after obtaining a master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Troy University. She double majored in Public Relations and Broadcast Journalism for her bachelor’s degree. Jennifer currently supports Pinnacle Solutions, Inc. as their Human Resources Generalist.

    Treasurer – Debbie McGee, CPA, GPHR, SHRM-SCP

    Debbie McGee is a veteran finance and international human resources executive with experience in the consulting, financial, manufacturing, and other industries.  Debbie worked in the international tax area for 13 years and found her enjoyment came from helping her tax clients with their international HR policies and design.  Debbie changed careers and has been in the International HR field for over 12 years. As a CPA, GPHR, SHRM-SCP, LP for leadership development, Debbie is a recognized authority on achieving organizational effectiveness for multinational corporations through the optimization of human capital assets worldwide.  Currently, Debbie is President and CEO of PZI International Consulting, Inc. here in Huntsville Alabama.  Debbie has been a volunteer in NASHRM since 2014 and will be the treasurer for NASHRM in 2017.  Debbie graduated from University of Colorado, with an accounting degree and has both lived and worked abroad.  Debbie is a member of National SHRM and also sits on the ALSHRM board, as well as the NAITA board.

    Bridgette Wilder joined Media Fusion in November 2014. In her role as the Chief Human Resources Officer, she has strategic and operational responsibilities in the areas of staffing, benefits, diversity outreach, EEO/AA compliance, and compensation analysis. Prior to joining Media Fusion, Bridgette was the Human Resources Manager at the Verizon Wireless Huntsville Call Center. She had strategic and operational responsibilities in the areas of employee relations, benefits, compensation, and staffing. She also was responsible for ensuring consistency in the administration of HR policies and practices.

    Karen Burton, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, is the Manager of the Human Resources Services Office at NASA, Marshall Space Flight Center. Karen has 40 years of federal HR and training experience to include HR generalist, position classification, recruitment, employee and labor relations, and HR management, and has served in various HR leadership roles at several locations throughout the United States. She has several years experience as an instructor for supervisory and leadership development courses, and human resource development courses. She also taught the SHRM Learning System and the SHRM Essentials of HR curriculum for over 3 years in the Washington, DC area, and teaches the Human Resource Management Essentials course and a leadership essentials course at UA Huntsville.

    Sonya R. Tolliver, SHRM-CP, PHR is currently employed as a Senior HR Representative with Intuitive Research and Technology Corporation.  Sonya has 10 years in the HR profession and finds the legal aspect of HR to be the most intriguing.  She is a member of SHRM National, and has been a member of NASHRM for many years.  She holds a BSBA in Management with a concentration in Human Resources and an MBA with a concentration in Acquisitions Management, both from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

    Angie has over 20 years of HR experience in a variety of industry ranging from manufacturing to public administration.  She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from UAH, and a Master’s in Personnel Administration from Alabama A & M.  She is the City of Huntsville’s Health & Wellness Center Program Manager.   As an avid runner, has a passion for healthy, grounded employees -believing that human capital is every organization’s best asset.  She lives in Athens, married to Kevin, and mom to Robert and Palmer…and Lucy, their beagle.

    Renee’ Scruggs is the President of Disability Staffing Services, LLC an HR services firm that promotes the employment of professionals with disabilities as well as leadership development. Renee’ has over 15 years management experience, over 20 years presentation and training experience and over 30 years advocacy experience. She holds a Bachelors in Communications, a Master in Business Administration and a Masters in Management. She is also a published author. Renee’ has served as Pre-Alumni Director for Oakwood University, the North Alabama area Director for the United Negro College Fund, is a member of Professionals with Disabilities, Focus on Professionals with Disabilities and currently serves as the Director of Diversity and Inclusion for NASHRM.

    Jarrett Lee is currently a full time student at The University of Alabama in Huntsville. He will graduate with a Bachelor’s of Communication Arts May of 2017 and a Master’s of Science in Human Resource Management May 2018. Jarrett is the President of the SHRM student chapter at UAH, and a member of SHRM National and NASHRM.
